Largest badger I've seen so far

Silver started to visit, always alone and always alert.
Late at night and long after the others had departed, a single very large pale bodied badger started to arrive. It was noticeably bigger than the others with a large wide head so I assumed a male and called him Silver. He was always alone and vigilant, the slightest noise would cause him to disappear. Silver was visiting for most of May and then disappeared early June, I hope to start a new family elsewhere.

I noticed the badgers seemed to be coming to the garden in search of water, I saw them standing up to drink out of my bird bath plus drinking out the watering cans, so I always made sure there were plentiful drinking sources for them. I gave up with a stone water bowl after I saw Blondie mark it by taking a pee on it! With the days getting longer the badgers seemed to be arriving earlier, sometimes 8.30pm, giving me longer to watch my fascinating nocturnal visitors.
